Just returned to this resort for the 2nd time after visiting Italy, Austria and France the last few years - tbh I’d forgotten how good this resort is. You took to seasoned skiers who have never heard of it but people in the know have been going there for 15 years on the bounce, which says it all. Massive ski area, loads of lifts, mostly fast chairs but a few slow ones over Bonaigua but adds to the charm and lets you take it all in. Disagree with other review that says don’t bother going to Bonaigua. I had the Puella lift at the end virtually to myself all morning in lovely conditions. Fantastic red if you go left at the top. No queues at all on weekdays anywhere just a bit busier on a sunny Saturday, but nothing the lifts can’t cope with. Exceptionally friendly lift staff and people. Fab new 6 seater over other side of Beret to the top replacing the old 3 seater slow chair. Stayed in Tuc Blanc just across road from gondola. Great staff, great food. Really enjoyed. Only downside, our flights were changed from Toulouse to Barcelona and the transfer was a nightmare. So don’t do that out of choice.
